Making Moves to Austin, Texas
I don't know about you, but this Mercury retrograde was a doozy for Ryan and I.
The planet that rules communication, travel, and all logistics has finally gone direct on October 18th- meaning those over-the-top Murphy's Law moments are finally put to rest, and we can get back to making moves, signing contracts, and making big decisions.
I'd like to announce my own big decision - Ryan and I are moving to Austin, Texas - and fast! We're moving this week!
Breckenridge, Colorado has been an incredible place of healing. Not only did I finally get a diagnosis of a broken spine and then a lumbar fusion performed by one of the top neurosurgeons in the country, but I achieved my lifelong dream of being migraine-free.
I am excited about Austin for a few big reasons, but there is a tradeoff for the unbelievably clean environment I enjoy in the mountains. Austin is Ryan's hometown so we have a lot to "go home" to.
It's the "right move" for us economically as we navigate the bizarre time in history we're living through and the ever-changing economic challenges it brings.
But is it the "right move" for my health? I've achieved 513 consecutive days of migraine freedom that is 100% related to the change in the environment I achieved by leaving Los Angeles and moving to the pristine Colorado Rocky Mountains at 10,200 feet elevation. On top of it, we live on a well (clean water without chemicals), away from 5G and 4G cell towers (barely any service anywhere), and chemtrails just showed up a month ago.
Here are the PROS:
Ban on mask mandates
Ban on v mandates
Booming economy (because of the above)
Network of lifelong friends through Ryan
Booming bio-hacking and wellness community
Here are the CONS:
5G everywhere
Air pollution
Chemtrail spraying
Chlorinated and Fluorinated drinking water
No mountains, no skiing
Hot AF
Let me tell you I am nervous. I'm nervous about losing my migraine freedom and suffering once again. But I do have a ton of intel and knowledge about how to protect myself, but most of those options are expensive. Good thing there's that booming economy, huh?!
Ryan and I are hoping to land a property on a well, and in a forest like here in Breck- but those are pretty hard to come by in Austin.
Here's my promise to you:
I will share my experience, no matter how difficult.
I will share all the methods I try so that you can try them too.
I will work on teaming up with bio-hacking experts in Austin to bring you more education on my ever-developing mitochondrial theory of migraine.
I will be taking a break from online workshops and yoga/meditation classes, and plan to resume in the new year. I’ll need a few more months of rehab but then I’ll be able to bring you the Oriana Method - my fitness technique for a bangin’ body and fewer migraines.
Have you experienced a dramatic reduction or increase in migraine frequency or severity associated with an environment change? I’d love to hear your story, as I’m assembling as much intel from fellow migraineurs as I can to help me develop the most robust Migraine Prevention Lifestyle ever.
In health,
XO 💋 Oriana
